Ghent University Global Campus – Sartorius Korea Bio-healthcare Training Program

The biologics industry in South Korea is growing quickly, but there is a lack of highly-trained biopharma professionals in the market. Since 2022, I have been leading a university-industry training program in partnership with Sartorius to develop relevant skills amongst Ghent University students at the Global Campus in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea. We further partner with companies such as Cytiva and Samsung Biologics within the Songdo Bio-cluster, and in 2026 plan to expand the program with Johnson & Johnson – Janssen Vaccine.
